Dr. Raj. K. Manchanda is the Director General of Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. Born in India he graduated as a homoeopathic physician from Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College, New Delhi and gained further insight into the science during his post-graduation in Homoeopathy from Dr. MPK Homoeopathic Medical College, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. His interest in healthcare further inspired him to pursue a M.B.A degree in Health care administration from Faculty of Management of Sciences, Delhi University.
He also serves as Co- chairman, sub committee of Drug Technical Advisory Board (Homoeopathy), Government of India; Member-Secretary, Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia Committee (HPC), Government of India;Secretary for Research – Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis; Expert member in various committees constituted by Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India; Member-Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH); Member, Scientific Advisory Committee, Delhi Homoeopathic Anusandhan Parishad(DHAP).
Prior to his current role, he has had 33 years professional experience in the field of Homoeopathy, including about 20 years as Deputy Director (Homoeopathy)/Assistant Director (Homoeopathy) in Department of Health &Family Welfare, Directorate of AYUSH, Govt. of Delhi. He has contributed significantly in the development of Homoeopathy and was instrumental in the opening of 66 new clinics, strgthening of Homoeopathic education and research in Delhi Government institutions.
He was the Organising Secretary of the magnificent event: The 66th World Homoeopathic Congress of Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (LMHI) held in New Delhi, India from 1st – 4th December 2011.He is the recipient of “State Award” by the Government of Delhi in 2010 for his meritorious work undertaken in the field of Homoeopathy and has also been presented -“Award of Recognition” by Robert Bosch Foundation, Germany in 2011.
He owes authorship of several research papers in peer reviewed international/national journals and a book: Textbook of Dermatology for Homoeopaths in English and Spanish language.He has been an active participant in International and National conferences where he has presented more than 50 research papers aiming to spread the spirit of evidence based medicine and encourage research in Homoeopathic science globally.

Rachel has a first-class degree in Biological Sciences (Physiology) from the University of Birmingham. She graduated from the The College of Homeopathy, London in 1997 and practised privately as a homeopath until 2012. Rachel has lectured in homeopathy and medical sciences at various colleges in the UK and overseas. She is also author of the ‘Mat Med Cards’ – materia medica flashcards which have been described as a ‘great contribution to homeopathy’. Rachel’s move from practice and teaching to the field of research began with the post of Research Consultant for the Society of Homeopaths from 2008-2012. She joined HRI in 2010 and now works for the Institute full time. In 2013 Rachel was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Society (FSHom) to acknowledge her outstanding contribution to homeopathy. Rachel was lead author of the scientific content of the Complaint to the Commonwealth Ombudsman submitted in August 2016, challenging the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Report on Homeopathy. This legal challenge is still in progress and Rachel continues to provide input to the process
